Home of the Last Mountain Gorillas
A visit to see the critically endangered mountain gorillas is one of the most impressive wildlife experiences Africa has to offer. You will get incredibly close to these gentle giants with the guidance of a ranger. In the tri-border area of Uganda, Rwanda and the DRC, live the last remaining mountain gorillas, with half residing in Bwindi NP. This UNESCO World Heritage site (since 1994) is also home to 120 mammal species, making it one of the most biodiverse areas in Uganda.
